Otherwise non-descript graduate suddenly goes on rampage
PDF Version
In line with the previous articles covering considerable lapses in actionable intelligence, we examine the June 2023 attacks in Nottingham. As with many of the subjects of such analysis, the perpetrator appears to have no motivation behind the seemingly random attacks. A pattern of idiosyncrasies ties in to a disturbing trend being seen in recent years.
MEDIA REPORTS
According to the mainstream media outlets, a Guinea Bissau national Valdo Amissão Mendes Calocane (31), formerly of Ilkeston road Nottingham, got into a confrontation with a group of three people in Ilkeston road circa 4.00 AM on Tuesday 13th June 2023 . The situation escalated and Mr. Calocane stabbed all three of them to death.
Following this extremely violent incident, he then went on to attempt to gain entry to Seely Hirst House a supported living accommodation property in Mapperley Road shortly after 4.00 AM.
After being captured on CCTV and being punched in the face by one of the residents. Mr. Calocane then calmly leaves the grounds of the accommodation, walks 100 meteres and attacks school caretaker Ian Coates on Magdala road.
After stabbing Mr Coates to death, Mr. Calocane stole his white transit van and drove approximately a mile to Milton Street in Nottingham town centre.
A police unit responding to 999 calls made after the Ilkeston road incident was seen behind the white transit van. After the single officer vehicle had Mr. Calocane and the white van in sight for approximately a minute, Mr. Calocane moved off and shortly thereafter rammed into three people on the pavement in the vicinity of Sherwood Street and Milton Street. All three sustained injuries and one was left in a critical condition. The driver of the police vehicle was seen giving first aid to one of the victims.
Around 5:30 AM Mr. Calocane was apprehended by police officers in Bentinck Street which is approximately 1.5 miles from the incident on Milton Street. Officers were seen tasering Mr. Calocane and taking him into custody. Allegedly he ran at the police with a knife. CCTV video has been released but omits key frames which may have shown this alleged attack.

Later in the day, tactical units are seen on Ilkeston road conducting a raid on a property. It is believed to be the residence of Mr. Calocane's 20 year old 'model' girlfriend. Balaclava wearing officers are seen entering a commercial property on Ilkeston road.
Shortly before 13:00, two women are taken away from Ilkeston road in a police van. They are seen being transferred into a marked patrol vehicle.
On Wednesday Police applied for extended detention for further questioning of Mr Calocane. A considerable police presence is seen still in the Ilkeston road area. Units seen on site included anti-terror officers and also NILO (National Inter-Agency Liaison Officers).

A Saturday court was convened and Mr Calocane appeared in front of a magistrate. Using the name 'Adam Mendes' he remained calm throughout and only spoke to confirm that he was of no fixed abode. However he did several times make nervous examinations of the gallery. He was remanded in custody on the grounds of committing murder and further attempted murders. At this point it emerges that Mr. Calocane had an outstanding charge of assaulting 'an emergency worker in September 2021. Both sets of charges are set to be heard on Monday June 26th.
Further details emerge that Mr Calocane was formerly of good character and had been living in the UK for a decade after migrating with his family from the African country of Guinea Bissau. Accounts also include references to his deterioration in mental health. Apparently he had been;
"hearing things that weren't there"
Despite having graduated in mechanical engineering from the same University as his victims, this is not believed by the police to be connected.
Other details include the fact that Mr. Calocane was 'known' to the Security Services after making an unannounced visit to MI5's Millbank headquarters in August 2023. He was apparently moved on by security officers after he had been 'banging on the door'. According to an anonymous security source from The Sun newspaper, this is not an isolated incident and it 'happens from time to time'.
Further information has been acquired by journalists in regards to Mr. Calocane's background. By all accounts he lived a quiet and studious life and the neighbours of his family home in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire stated that the Calocane family were always very civil and functional. Some reports contain details as to his mental health in recent times. Neighbours stated that he had not been seen for several years after he was believed to have moved into Nottingham.
Among the extensive media coverage, there has been no statement made in regards to any possible motivation. It is believed that as of Saturday 18th of June Mr. Calocane has not been cooperating with the officers questioning him.
ANALYSIS
The usual request for journalists to refrain from speculation has been made by the police. However this has been blatantly ignored by numerous journalists and self appointed commentators. Professor Anthony Glees a so called 'security and intelligence expert' from the University of Buckingham has gone on record as saying that this attack represents terrorism even if the anti-terror police say otherwise. He also goes to some lengths to attach the controversial subjects of Islamic extremism and right wing domestic terror. Hardly surprising considering that Professor Anthony Glees was approached for comment by the notoriously right wing and reactionary news outlet 'GBNews'.
The fact that Mr Calocane was 'known to MI5' comes as no great shock. The vast majority of individuals engaging in these types of seemingly random attacks invariably turn out to have been either under surveillance or 'known to' the security services. This is beyond a pattern and is almost anticipated when such an attack occurs. This does raise a question as to what exactly the security services do with this knowledge. Many press releases have been made as to how many potential terror plots have been thwarted by the security services and the police. It seems that despite this incredibly successful method, there are still numerous potential attackers remaining at large. The murderers of Lee Rigby were apparently known to MI5, as was the perpetrator of the Westminster Bridge attack and perhaps most tragic of all, Jean Charles De Menzies was also known to the security services.
There is also the issue of the marked police car which had Mr Calocane in sight for approximately a minute before he used the stolen van as a murder weapon. The driver was close enough to the incident to be seen rendering assistance to the victims in the immediate aftermath. This anomaly in the narrative has also been picked up by police spokespersons and they have committed to investigating whether this contact had any bearing on Mr Calacone's actions immediately thereafter.
Reading the many media reports on this incident it is hard to accept that this otherwise quiet graduate had anything in his background which would explain his motivations. In many cases such as these, the subject is found to have come to Britain from unstable regimes or third world regions. in the case of Laidi benemor, he had claimed to have come from war torn Iraq, but was actually from Tunisia.
The reports of Mr. Calocane's deterioration in mental health fairly sticks out. Generally speaking it would not be outrageous to think that anyone prepared to kill three random people and try to kill three more total strangers would have to be quite insane. However his behavior is in direct contradiction to this assumption. Even when he was punched in the face attempting to gain entry to the Seely Hirst House homeless shelter, he did not retaliate. This is someone who had just apparently murdered three total strangers in the street in a frenzied stab attack. Considering that berserkers are under the influence of extensive adrenalin releases, they do not behave in calm and measured ways. The only way to retain detached composure during ultra violence is to use some form of adrenalin suppressant. Security personnel who have PTSD and rely on beta blockers to do their job will attest to the entirely abstract experience of dealing with violence while using suppressant medication.
There appears to be unrelated, coincidental events of a similar nature at 10:00 AM on the same day, over a hundred miles away in Wembley, London. Another engineering student from Nottingham, Tejaswini Kontham (27), was fatally stabbed by an unnamed individual. A 28 year old woman who has been reported to be a friend of Tejaswini Kontham, was also stabbed but the wounds were not fatal. Three people were arrested following the incident, two 23 year old men were detained and a third woman was released without charge. On the face of things it would be easy to dismiss as no more than tempers boiling over in the summer heat. However there remain certain reported facts that represent a pattern. These apparent coincidences make for a pattern which should not be automatically discounted.
- The attacker Keven Antonio Lourenco De Morais used an edge weapon
- The age of Tejaswini Kontham (27) is comparable with that of Valdo Calocane (31)
- Kontham had apparently been studying maths at Greenwich but is also reported to have been on a graduate engineering course at Nottingham University. Calocane was a graduate of mechanical engineering from the same university.
- Doubts have been voiced on social media as to how legitimate these incidents were. The lack of corresponding pre-incident photos of victims lives has once again been offered as absence of evidence.
- Both incidents have had fundraising pages set up on GoFundMe. Some have been by family of victims and some appear as attempts to cash in on newsworthy events.
There is nothing in the media reports to suggest that Mr. Calocane is / was any form of super villain or even under the care of any mental health professionals. However, his appearance in the CCTV images does appear to include clothes fit for purpose. He is also carrying a backpack which presumably held the murder weapon used in Ilkestone road. This speaks to a prepared state of mind. If someone is prepared for a purpose, is retaining their composure, calmly completes their goal and then says absolutely nothing to police, it would be easy to deduce that they represent either a hardened criminal or some form of operative.
Apart from the September 2021 attack on an emergency worker and some petty drug dealing, there is nothing whatsoever to indicate that Mr Calocane was anything but an average Nottingham resident. A formerly active church goer from a solid family background who had studied hard, done well in his exams and was looking for work.
Perhaps most conspicuous is Mr Calocane's visit to Millbank. While the Sun's anonymous source is keen to dismiss it as a trivial detail, this would represent a potential cry for help on the part of Mr. Calocane. If he was being used as an informant or operative by undisclosed clandestine forces, his level of education and religious background may have inspired him to blow the whistle on some unauthorised handlers. The timeline of his visit and his subsequent attack on 'an emergency worker' potentially speak to his state of mind at the time. The incidents occurring within several weeks of each other can not simply be dismissed as isolated or unrelated.
There is another explanation which could explain Mr Calocane's demeanor. Many of the articles on TEFLONRABBIT.COM include references to methods of mind control. In terms of behaving in seemingly unpredictable and out of character ways, the use of mind control would explain a great deal of the anomalies seen in this brutal and heinous incident. The use of directed, pulse code modulated, brainwave convolution technology will create exactly the types of 'mental health' symptoms mentioned by Mr. Calocane. The technology to direct audio signals into the brain without any sound was patented almost two decades ago. If the patent is that old, then the use of the technology in clandestine circles will be much, much older. The use of mind control is not a new thing. The book / films 'The Manchurian Candidate' goes to some lengths to depict quite how much control can be exerted over the average person using mind control techniques. The narrative by Richard Condon dates from 1959 and is considered as a defacto representation of mind control methods used by clandestine forces.
In addition to the apparent coincidences with the Kontham murder, there is also the undeniable possibility that there has been a hidden esoteric purpose. The summer solstice followed these incidents by approximately a fortnight. This time of year is particularly relevant in belief structures which maintain customs from antiquity. The use of blood sacrifices in macro environmental esoteric activity is nothing new and has been going on for millennia. As has the concept of weaving false narratives that substantial numbers of people accept. It can not be ruled out that both the Calocane and Kontham incidents represent coordinated actions by clandestine groups with considerable investment in black magic.
Ultimately it seems extremely unlikely that any forthcoming explanation could ever reconcile Mr. Calocane's actions with the families of his victims. The loss of offspring or siblings makes a huge impact on people's lives. Additionally the fellow students of the victims will be dealing with the shock of the incident for years to come. If the combined trauma of all these people has come about as a result of irresponsible use of mind control technologies then perhaps someone should have opened the door at Millbank in August.
