As the focal point of Christianity, the individual known as Jesus Christ has been depicted in many paintings, referenced in numerous texts other than the New Testament and worshiped on a daily basis by hundreds of millions of people. In recent years a controversial theory has emerged that he was in fact the son of Julius Caesar and Cleopatra the 7th. This made him both a Pharaoh and most likely a high priest of Amun. In addition his years spent in hiding / travelling could well have added titles such as Yogi, Rabbi and Essene to his entirely impressive spiritual CV. This theory expounds to imply that he was chosen as a figurehead by the priesthood of Amun (or someone) to facilitate the rebranding of the Roman Empire into the Roman Catholic Church. Both the Roman and Ptolemeic dynasties were utterly obsessed with outdoing the previous generation. In terms of conquest, outdoing Julius Caesar would be quite challenging. This meant that an empire 'of the mind' represented a far more accessible route to critical acclaim.
Whether Jesus Christ was actually the product of an immaculate conception and was born in a cow shed, or was in fact Ptolemy XV Caesar is perhaps irrelevant. What is relevant is that a whole load of power of intent has been invoked in his name over the past 2000 years.
