When a high profile 'terror' attack takes place, the response of the authorities provides insight into potential contributory factors. With major investment in surveillance, the possibility exists that some of these attacks could have been avoided. The uncomfortable reality of LIHOP and MIHOP come to the fore as we examine the Finsbury Park Mosque attack.

2017 was a particularly active year in terms of the UK populations perception of 'terror' attacks. London had been the location of a vehicle based attack on Westminster Bridge in March and another in Borough Market in June. Both were attributed to Islamic sources and both featured extensive responses from the emergency services.

Allegedly as a response to these incidents, A man from Cardiff hired a van, drove to London and ploughed into a crowd of Muslim men who had been attending prayers at the Finsbury Park Mosque. Darren Osborne was not a London resident and presumably had not been personally impacted by either of the vehicle attacks earlier in the year. During his detention prior to sentencing he claimed to have been 'doing his bit'. He was sentenced to life imprisonment and has sustained numerous attacks from other inmates.

The emergency services response to the Finsbury Park attack was really very different from the comprehensive and timely attendance shown earlier in the year in Westminster and Southwark. The Westminster bridge attack was allegedly known about far enough in advance for at least one of the victims to create a crowd funding page to assist with their medical costs. This apparently happened the day before the attack and the timestamped screenshot of the page has been cited as fairly damning evidence of a 'Make it Happen' operation conducted by combined and unknown forces. The question of integrity is further coloured by fact that the NHS doesn't charge people for elective surgery, never mind injuries sustained as a result of a 'terror' attack.

Regardless of ill conceived grift, the details surrounding Darren Osbornes personal path to becoming a self propelled domestic terrorist brings into question the issue of deliberate radicalisation.  In the great British tradition, several of Osbornes neighbours and family were doorstepped by representatives of the media who were eager for an inside scoop. As usual the standard retorts were made, most resembling the cliche;

"Oh but he was such a nice man"

Many went further to describe how Mr Osborne had been separated from his partner and children. He had been seen in the days before the attack enjoying an access visitation complete with rousing choruses and generally functional interaction. Somehow this otherwise low key individual became so passionate about contentious cultural issues that less than 48 hours later, he attempted to take the lives of dozens of worshippers.

Several accounts stated that Mr Osborne had recently been living in a tent in the local woods. This detail brings into question a contentious issue, frequently covered by TEFLONRABBIT in the analysis of seemingly random actions. The potential use of mind control techniques as tools to 'program' Osborne into committing this malicious action can not be ignored. The exact method of programming would obviously be known to very few and probably not even Osborne himself. He was most likely aware of his involvement at a very low level, but not the full scope of his forthcoming actions. Generally speaking the vectors for the motivation of men estranged from their families follow specific patterns. The use of incentives has played a major part in the compromising of targets since the dawn of espionage. The tent in the woods and the removals van being included in a mind control script could well imply that Osborne was intending to move in somewhere, or move someone else somewhere. There was no report that the sizeable hire van contained anything at all when it was used as an intended murder weapon. Applying this detail to the potential reality of mind control indicates that Osborne had not yet engaged in the planned removal, which would be most probably occurring in the London area. Therefore it seems possible that the purpose behind the journey into London may not have always been to kill Muslims. Instead some last minute change of plan or cancellation may have been instigated to 'trigger' Osborne into going live.

Of course it's impossible to rule out the mainstream narrative and indeed Osborne may well be a deranged psychopath, hellbent on murdering as many Muslims as possible. However there are numerous inconsistencies with the narrative and as any regular readers of TEFLONRABBIT will know; if it doesn't fit, it's probably as bent as a bottle of chips.

In the build up to this event, Osborne had been communicating with a figure well known in provocateur circles, a one Mr Steven Christopher (can't fight for toffee) Yaxley Lennon AKA Tommy Robinson. The content of the communication falls short of calling for the taking up of arms against a foreign invading force. However it does contain language designed to inflame racial or cultural tension. the following is an excerpt from the email.

Dear Darren,  Salman Abedi’s bombing is not the beginning and it won’t be the end.

There is a nation within a nation forming just beneath the surface of the UK.

It is a nation built on hatred, on violence, and on Islam.

The government and politicians refuse to take the necessary steps to keep us safe.

It has now been left to us, the ordinary people of the United Kingdom to stand up to hate, to unite and in one voice say ‘no more’.

The incident itself took place on a particularly sweltering June evening at approximately 00:15. Presumably as a result of religious fasting and the oppressive heat, one of the Finsbury Park worshippers had fallen ill and was being given first aid outside the Mosque. A crowd formed around and it was this group that provided Osborne with his target. Whether the collapsed man would have survived were it not for the attack is not clear. What is clear that several other members of the crowd sustained injuries classified as permanently impairing.

It does seem very convenient that Osborne arrived just in time for this large crowd to have formed. Predicting exactly how long a journey from the South West of Britain to Central London will take, is far from easy. The number of delaying factors which could impact the movements of a large commercial vehicle make any ETA the matter of some substantial guesswork. There is nothing in any of the narrative that suggest any form of stake out with endless waiting for an opportune moment. Moreover, various reports indicate that Osborne was not acting alone. Witness accounts extend to there being two other individuals in the vehicle with Osborne. When questioned as to the details of his passengers or accomplices, Osborne replied that at the time of the attack, they had been;

"Getting the drinks in."

This is highly incongruous and does not appear to have inspired any form of investigation whatsoever. Equally (if not even more) incongruous, is the somewhat delayed response to the attack from the Metropolitan Police. Unlike the recent vehicle based attacks, there were no professional photographers, plain clothes police, politicians bodyguards, mystery vehicles or convicted murderers on the scene. As a result, Osborne was promptly pulled from the cab of his vehicle by a rightfully enraged mob. Were it not for the selfless actions of the Mosque Imam, Osborne would most certainly have been killed. Apparently Mohammed Mahmoud forced his way through the crowd and protected Osborne from the kicks and punches of the crowd by placing his own body in the way. Considering the nature of the attack, it's difficult to perceive anything other than piety being the motivator behind this act.

Apparently the police were called at 00:20 which would fit with the description of the timeline. However, given the nature of wide scale surveillance, it would be reasonable to assume that between Osborne and his associates, at least one mobile phone powered by either iOS or Android was switched on and registered with a network. This clearly raises the issue of LIHOP or MIHOP being a factor in this attack. As described in the article Brand Loyalty and the eternal buyers remorse, the state of contemporary surveillance means that any mobile phone switched on can be monitored by qualified bodies. Beyond this, the emergency call feature of most mobile phones does not always even require a present SIM card. The UK is one of the few countries where a mobile phone can be used to raise assistance from the emergency services even if it is seemingly out of range. This requires access to the network beyond that available to commercial surveillance organisations.

"If anyone had access to a phone in that vehicle they would probably have been attached to one the many qualified bodies involved in UK policing, security or intelligence."

Public Sector Protect spokesperson - Feb 2023

To answer the question of what could possibly incentivise any surveillance body to deliberately suppress actionable intelligence of a forthcoming domestic terror attack, the concept of 'Strategy of Tension' comes into view. In many ways it suits the security, policing and intelligence apparatus for the public to be emotionally triggered by what they see in the media. Polarised views on immigration and cultural integration make for volatile individuals. In the interests of security and for the protection of the community, the Crown and British decency itself - volatile people need keeping an eye on. Obviously this is in case their volatility is contagious in some way and may spread a wave of instability throughout the land. The justification for this surveillance is often based on intelligence from commercial sources and is not necessarily always of the highest quality. Regardless of justification, the perception of volatility is enough to warrant a commercial interest in anyone who could be construed as being even in the slightest way, a bit tetchy. In fact the perception of anyone being in any way even remotely interesting is generally enough to constitute all manner of self propelled scrutiny by persons utterly unqualified and only motivated by money or some perceived gain.

Somehow, Darren Osborne either never displayed any particularly volatile tendencies or if he did, they were deliberately suppressed. Whichever way it went, his path to launch a surprise attack on dozens of innocent members of the British public, was completely clear. Fortunately the majority of the British public are more concerned with their number of likes for the social media posting of their most recent plate of pasta. Very few care to consider the ramifications of such inherent inconsistencies in this type of awareness contradiction. Ultimately if Osborne was intentionally radicalised, deliberately facilitated and consciously triggered into his actions, the groups and or individuals responsible should logically be held to account.

This laissez-faire approach to accountability does not represent an isolated incident. The entirety of the PNAC MIC paradigm was based on this exact type of selective blindness when it comes to conventional investigative methods employed to track down perpetrators of 'terror'. In most respects the appointed investigators avoid tackling inconsistencies or showing the greatest diligence in terms of following the money. In many ways, these individuals do not behave like detectives and instead act more like compliant handymen. The convenient finding of a terrorist passport trumpeted by Bernard Kerik was apparently considered of no material significance by the FBI. The highly conspicuous absence of any FBI agents during the 911 attacks was also dismissed or written off as yet another example of typically unlikely coincidences. The FBI were out of the picture on 911 because they were allegedly all far too busy enjoying an unprecedented (and very much organised) mass jamboree reacharound† in the Californian woods.

†Note: Best effort guess. The exact details of activities engaged with during federal training conferences in California (or anywhere else) remain confidential.

Welsh police pursuing leads in Osbourne case

Among the generally condemning reactions from the general public, Richard Gear Evans (the son of the van hire company owner) managed to get himself arrested and questioned by Welsh police for making the following statement:

"It’s my dad’s company, I don’t get involved. It’s a shame they don’t hire out a steam rollers or tanks, could have done a good job then."

Richard Gear Evans

Clearly Mr Gear Evans has his own views in terms of immigration control and cultural integration. These views were fairly contradicted by his father, the rest of his family, friends and colleagues, the franchise operator Eddie Stobart and well .... British decency itself. He was released without charge thanks to the CPS offering sage council to the Welsh Police.

Among other challenging reactions was one found in the manifesto of New Zealand domestic terrorist and mass murderer Brenton Tarrant after his attack on a mosque in Christchurch.

"I support many of those that take a stand against ethnic and cultural genocide. Luca Traini, Anders Breivik, Dylan Roof, Anton Lundin Pettersson, Darren Osbourne etc."

Brenton Tarrant

The long lasting effects of the 2017 'terror' season are less obviously felt today. Fortunately for the British public, their concerns regarding potential race wars and widespread civil disobedience were quashed by the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic. Along with other irritable bones of contention such as Brexit and impending worldwide currency collapse, the Finsbury Park Mosque was consigned to the history books by the arrival of curfews, lateral flow tests and a whole load of facemasks.

The novel Coronavirus may have prematurely aged Boris Johnson but it fairly ushered in a good day, month, year, narrative to bury bad news.
