Keeping an eye on developments can also require looking backwards. Increasingly things are moving at such a rate that it doesn't require turning the clock back too far. A mere decade ago things which we take for granted now seemed ludicrous. Unfortunately the greatest impact has been seen in the reduction of what were considered inalienable liberties.

Perception management Social Engineering Government Police Military Industrial Complex

With a greater emphasis on interpersonal hostility, the concept of warfare between nations has become increasingly redundant. Instead the population is ushered into a situation where their greatest enemy is their family, their social group or their next door neighbour. This affords their government the most granular level of control.

The strategy of divide and conquer has been utilised since humanity emerged from the primordial slime. Exactly when this emergence happened is not so clear. Nonetheless the desire to set people against each other has been artificially maintained at the forefront of human interaction. Left to their own devices, humans will invariably opt for some form of devolved hierarchy. The family unit has historically formed the backbone of this hierarchical cascade as it does in numerous other species. Beyond the nuclear family is the extended family network which still carries substantial credibility among the populations that adhere to religious principles. Up another level exists the Barrio system. Families form tribes and tribes form villages. The village elders elect a chief and they deal with the inconveniences associated with leadership. The Barrios exhibit a high degree of autonomy. Resources are secured for the purposes of sustaining their populations and for the most part they maintain a relatively peaceful interoperability with the neighbouring Barrios.

This system works so well that it has endured throughout the numerous millennia of mankind's evolution. In modern times, the value of this hierarchical cascade has been reduced. Those who prefer a parasitical model do not seek to preserve the autonomy of the tribal system. For them, a single authoritarian entity provides the greatest opportunity for siphoning resources from the collective. In previous articles, we have covered the periodic remolding of societies with deliberate political and economic doctrine engineered to facilitate this totalitarian mindset. The majority of conflict experienced by humanity is actually initiated as a result of economic opportunism. Major warfare between nations or other demographics is generally attributed to some form of ideological incompatibility. For the most part this is nothing more than a contrived illusion designed to obscure the transfer of wealth happening in the bank accounts of the instigators.

Currently we see a major amount of money being pumped into the Ukraine to help the poor defenceless Ukranians withstand the tyrannical oppression of Vlad the Impatient. Oddly enough the consumers of this mindless trope are quick to forget that US foreign policy has had a major impact in this situation. The involvement of political figures is only ever as a result of specific commercial interests. By every conceivable meter the Ukranian situation has always been about the natural gas reserves. Just as in Afghanistan, the true goal of acquiring resources has been obscured with elaborate and ideological mumbo jumbo. The concept of 'freedom' is co-opted in order to make the resource acquisition appear less avaricious. Occasionally their mask slips and they reveal their true intent. The USA's efforts in the Ukraine have come about under political pressure which has involved the Biden family in some quite conspicuous ways. The sentiment delivered to  the Ukranian government seemed to echo that delivered to the Taliban in 2001 by the Bush administration:

'Either you accept our offer of a carpet of gold, or we bury you under a carpet of bombs'

This mentality is rolled out so often that it's become quite clear that the actual goal is the carpet bombing. The loosely veiled excuse of resource acquisition is merely a pretext with which to instigate warfare. What this means is that these political puppets are owned lock stock and barrel by lobby groups representing the interests of the Military Industrial Complex.

1950's Suburban Grill

If the military don't use up the arms they have been manufacturing, they won't be able to screw the taxpayer for more money to make more arms. Along the way many barbecues, school fees and new kitchens are paid for courtesy of the taxpayer. This is considered to be the ultimate racket and nobody in the MIC want's it to end - ever. Unfortunately a lack of understanding in terms of anthropology on the part of the MIC has been their undoing.

As mentioned in numerous TEFLONRABBIT articles, the public release of their own TCP/IP protocol created a major problem for these racketeers. In an interview in 2017, the Antipodean media darling come techno guru Elon Musk made a statement in relation to the massive changes brought about by this shift in telecommunications.

The average person has more power now than the president of the USA had 20 years ago

This is quite a profound statement, not least of all because it's demonstrably true. The average contradictory response would be along the lines of not having the power of the Clintons when it comes to organising convenient suicides. However that would be a particularly narrow interpretation of the word power. What Mr Musk was getting at was in relation to knowledge equating to power. In this regard he is quiet accurate. He explains that the individual being able to find out more or less anything that they require in seconds is a big deal. Likewise being able to instantly communicate with people anywhere on the planet not only through textual means but also voice and even video conferencing is an even bigger deal. Were Ronald Reagan to ask his aids for a run down on how many million tons of rice were being consumed by the Chinese, he could expect a considerable delay in the response. Today such information can be found instantly, by anyone who cares to use a search engine.

China consumed 154.9 million metric tons of rice in the marketing year 2022/2023.

Many significant extrapolations of this data can also be found with minimal effort. To acquire this level of information in the 1980's would have utilised the collective resources of many public facing and covert agencies. That's a whole load of barbecues and kitchens that TCP/IP and the world wide web threw straight in the Avocado coloured toilet.

Everyone on earth having more power in their pocket than Ronald Reagan sounds like a good thing. However those who furnished Ronald Reagan with his information would be unlikely to share such an opinion. For them the reality is that nobody on the planet needs their services anymore, least of all the so called 'leader of the free world'. This threatens everything they hold sacred, especially the aforementioned barbecues and new kitchens. Their ability to control the citizenry with their blatantly deceptive methods becomes restricted. Their answer, it seems, has been to further muddy the waters of what constitutes reality for the average punter. Numerous instances have been shown in the media of politicians seeking to promote a narrative that minimal research debunks.

Previously we covered the so called 'Ransomware attack' on the NHS in 2017. Both the UK Prime Minister Theresa May and the shadow cabinet leader  Jeremy Corbyn were quickly put on TV by the news agencies offering words of leadership to placate the masses. Theresa could barely control the schizophrenic twitching at the sides of her mouth while she sought to shoehorn her narrative into the interview. Her response was pretty much what one would expect and alluded to terrible foreign state controlled hackers seeking to disrupt British life. The leader of the opposition Jeremy Corbyn went even further with one of his characteristically hyperbolic outbursts :

These .... 21st century highwaymen have... targeted our hard working Doctors and Nurses!

These marginally different takes on a single Reuters narrative was a blatant lie on numerous levels. The chances are that the entire stunt was cooked up right here in good old Blighty and it probably involved coordination by some bunch of miscreants involved in British clandestine operations. Deploying such an attack through various compromised servers in disparate geographical locations is quite an elaborate operation but hardly groundbreaking in terms of offensive network actions. Apart from anything else, the 'Wannacry' virus targeted Windows operating systems that hadn't been updated. It no more targeted the NHS than it targeted KwikFit or the local chip shop. The fact that the local chippy and most car-tire dealerships considered their Windows 7 updates with more urgency than the NHS is another matter entirely.

Deepmind NHS communication technology

The NHS and pretty much all other departments are rapidly becoming more technologised as semi autonomous (and profit orientated) agencies as opposed to the previous model of being overseen as publicly funded service providers. There is also the grim reality that the whole thing could well have been a reverse, triple blind, perception management stunt to force the government into awarding more money for NHS IT support. Fujitsu had retained the support contract thanks to their long standing involvement in other sectors including education. The inelegant truth is that any governmental contracts will most likely be awarded to the contractor making the lowest bid. Throw in a few backhanders for the old school tie network and hey presto, sub standard mediocrity prevails. The NHS certainly do seem to have invested more in technology over the past ten years than they did previously. It would not be unreasonable to associate part of this upturn with the ransomware attack and subsequent political embarrassment. It would also not be unreasonable to associate it with certain other technological changes relating to the recent RIPA expansions.

Historically those who have controlled population and it's leadership have utilised any tools which deliver their desired goals. Including deception and perception management. From the Aztec priests promising the return of the eclipsed sun, to Elon Musk promising mental network integration by way of the 'Neural Lace'. Both represent deception and both deny informed choice. When Mr. Musk was grasping for the right words to describe nano-particulate and graphene injections in 2017, the concept of everyone on the planet volunteering for integration with the Internet of Things would have been preposterous. In 2007 the idea of being forced to stay indoors under a lock-down imposed through an emergency powers enforcement would have been equally as preposterous. In 1997 the concept of video streaming on a mobile device with more cellular bandwidth than available through domestic DSL, would be considered in terms of total science fiction. Far from being available to the man in the street, video conferencing relied on expensive ISDN leased lines. In 1987 a selection of educational institutions had Unix networks and access to dial in bulletin boards. Having such information access wired into the home was limited to a handful of upper management and consultant telecommuters.

Population and advances in technology

This technological progress can be seen to have followed similar spike patterns throughout history. However it can also be seen to have accelerated dramatically since the beginning of the fossil fuel based global economy. The futures market of this economy has been artificially shorted to force a change in global energy usage. As previously mentioned in several articles, the peak oil contingency plans implemented in the 1970's are playing out now in the economic decision being made in the Ukraine. Unfortunately for those who deployed them, they were based on blatantly inaccurate data provided by the kitchen and barbecue aficionados mentioned above. Now anyone can be in possession of much more accurate fossil fuel consumption information within seconds of activating their touchscreen device. To avoid being called out on this ludicrous delivery of false goals, those who deployed them have obscured the justification with distractions. Global warming is now considered to be the driving force behind the move away from reliance on fossil fuel energy. The most any eco tub thumper will ever concede is that the 1970's reports were 'bad science'. But now we've got 'good science' so never mind what they said in the 1970's. In every way this conforms to the blatant revisionism depicted by Eric Arthur Blair in the 1984 story line.

In order to keep the population focused on what's happening in the here and now, as opposed  to a mere decade ago, tropes such as 'pre pandemic' and 'pre 911' thinking have been rolled out. This pejorative reference to the past insinuates an old fashioned philosophical view. In the 1980's and 90's things that happened in the 1960's were considered to be old hat. Every generation considers the previous one to be stuck in the past and the next generation to be blissfully ignorant of reality. In this way the entire population is kept philosophically divided into age based sections of society by technological advances. Every once in a while a divergent group appears and upsets this essential disparity between the generations. For those who understand complex systems, mass perception management is not difficult to unravel. This is not good for the barbecue and fitted kitchen industries because people who can see past the advertising and flim-flam generally feel compelled to mention it to others. Putting their opinions into a publicly accessible repository risks the barbecues and kitchens of many information fixated bureaucrats.

The simplistic expression 'Knowledge equals Power' is not inaccurate. However it makes no mention of 'Authority' which always equals Power + Responsibility. Those who are concerned with an ongoing and generally covert acquisition of power do not generally accept any responsibility whatsoever.

Therefore they will never, ever have authority.
