The point being that God would not let Abraham sacrifice his only son (then a fully grown man of 40 so also willing to obey God) but God DID sacrifice His OWN only begotten Son for the whole world, to show us He loved us. Nobody is forced to be born again through the finsished work of second Adam who was sinless and blameless, unlike the first Adam and all that came after him.
