An irresistable force, trying to pass through the eye of a needle

Viewing the past from an alternative perspective can often leave one in a somewhat confused state. Fortunately there have been many great thinkers who have expended substantial resources in this regard. From toga sporting Mediterraneans to internet radicalised anthropologists, it's been open season on the entire historical record - since records began.
The original script of 1999 Science Fiction spectacular the Matrix, loses a bit of inertia as the sequels unfold. Perhaps one of the most valuable scenes features a line from The Architect in The Matrix Reloaded:

Hope, it is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of your greatest strength, and your greatest weakness.
From a less theatrical standpoint, this axiom could be re-written to replace the word hope with the less naive term self delusion.
The achievements of humankind represent something that any galactic observer would consider something to take note of. There are those in the futurist community who perceive this to be a very plausible reality.

The rules postulated by Arthur C.I.A Clarke state that there are three (sigh) fundamental levels of civilisation. Type one would be our current destination in terms of the meter employed to define sustainable use of the planets energy. This meter is considered by most as having merit. There may well indeed exist advanced civilisations that are monitoring the progress of Homo sapien-sapien. As such they would logically perceive energy efficiency as being aligned with global enlightenment. Given humanity's dependence on unsustainable fossil fuels, we have not yet harnessed the practically unlimited energy of our planet. Therefore as a species, we have yet to reach a rudimentary level of education. It's really all quite humbling.
Moving away from fashionable soundbytes such as green, eco-friendly, carbon footprint and so forth, we could consider enlightenment to equate to species wide unity. There are possibly more reasons for humans to disagree than there are atoms in the universe. Consequently, we have a track record of unity worse than any other species on Earth. Man's inhumanity to man is one of the greatest subject matters of fiction. Mainly because we have such extensive factual experience in that field.
Philosopher George Santayana is broadly accredited with the original quote:
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
Considering the highly anomalous nature of our historical record, it seems apparent that humans have attempted to achieve species wide unity at various times throughout the millennia. Unfortunately the carrot has frequently been overlooked in favour of the stick. Even when the stick has not involved overtly oppressive tactics, it has been used as a hidden lever to tip the majority consciousness toward specific agendas.

Regular readers will recall this article making reference to the conspicuous demolition of the Cathar castles in France. By many accounts (other than those of the Church obviously) the Cathars or Albegensians were a truly benevolent people. Many pictorial representations feature the subjects adorned with halos, as traditionally used in the art world to denote divinity. They were completely self sufficient in terms of material dependency, societal governance and most dangerously belief structures. They didn't need a single thing from the hierarchy of the established Roman Catholic Church or in fact anyone else. Obviously such total self sufficiency made them a threat to anyone seeking to control them or their gnostic interpretation of Christianity. A threat which the allegedly more democratic and hierophantic priest class of the Roman Catholic aligned state, would not tolerate.

There have been numerous cultures which have separated themselves from the constraints of the lands they inhabited. The entire North American continent represents probably the most economically successful break-away civilisation in known history. However in the greater view of things, the USA (nee rogue British colony of Virgina) is but a Johnny Come-Lately and nothing about it whatsoever speaks to species wide unity. It also has a history of perpetual warfare from it's inception, expressed both internally and externally. Logically enough, those who are prepared to risk their lives to gain independence can be a bit volatile when it comes to being told what to do by any successive forms of control apparatus.

At the other end of the scale is the societal anomaly that is Pitcairn Island. Sharing common interests with the Plymouth Rock religious separatists, Pitcairn was founded by people who chose to forgo the constraints of the British global superpower. The descendants of mutineer Fletcher Christian and his band of salty sea dogs have evolved into another highly self sufficient group of humans. The population represents a fairly narrow gene pool derived predominantly from the crew of The Bounty and the South Pacific island women they sequestered en-route to their chosen Terra Nullis. Unlike the Albegensians, the Pitcairn Islanders developed some societal practices which are profoundly challenging to the contemporary cultural mindset. It seems unlikely that many Pitcairn Mayorial portraits should really depict their subjects adorned with anything other than handcuffs.

When it comes to providing proof that the human race could ever be united in a single cause, there is scant evidence. In order to perceive any whatsoever, the mainstream perception of both living memory and ancient history, have to be pretty much abandoned. Unfortunately history is always written by the victors. At the very best all we can expect from analysis of the historical record, is some far reaching interrogation of the narrative. When the battle has been fought with the covert weaponry of revisionism and propaganda, piecing together the truth and significance is no small undertaking. Those who seek to force society in agenda driven directions are rarely transparent with their methods. By definition, clandestine activities are designed to escape scrutiny via the historical record. In addition there are certain agendas which are undeniably inter-generational in nature. Consequently the control mechanism(s) employed to keep these enduring goals from being widely analysed, have expanded exponentially.

If you want to steal your neighbours cow, you probably don't want them to know what you are doing. Conducting the cow-napping at night would logically be more advantageous in terms of plausible deniability. Also muffling the the cows hooves with rags as it is lead from the barn should reduce the chances of alerting the light sleeping Neapolitan Mastiff located next door. Then once the bovine prize has been successfully relocated, there is a matter of making sure that your neighbour does not discover that you have blatantly robbed them of their livestock. This may require disguising the cow so that it can go unnoticed or possibly even butchering it immediately and stashing the meat in your deep freeze(s). Humanity has somehow managed to evolve to the point where they share a common understanding of Natural Law. Consequently there are penalties associated with stealing your neighbours cow which sit above and apart from your neighbours justifiable vexation. Society as whole will condemn you for the theft and bring actions against you through a shared mechanism of repudiation.
At some point, it becomes apparent that there is substantially more work involved with stealing a cow than in raising a calf or just buying a cow from the market. The only reason to continually resort to elaborate methods of cattle rustling is because you have some kind of perverse fixation with being a thief as opposed to a farmer. It is this precise concept which underlines much of what we see in society today. Society has been (and continues to be) increasingly encouraged to believe that it's perfectly acceptable to steal your neighbours cow, just so long as you don't get caught. Furthermore your neighbour probably doesn't want everyone to know that their cows are for stealing. Reveling in the fact that you stole the cow (from under their nose) and then hinting at it when you bump into them at the feed store, could only be interpreted as toxic feminine narcissism and a crass attempt to assert dominance.

This passive aggressive method on the part of a cow thief represents the perfect model to illustrate a widespread behavioural phenomena. A phenomena which has been identified as being associated with Boarding School Syndrome. Considering the numbers of global 'elite' members whom have attended English speaking boarding schools, it would appear logical that this obsessive, passive aggressive phenomena is inherently, instrumentally and symbiotically connected to influential English speakers. English became the most dominant global language approximately seventy years ago. As a direct result of the global spread of aviation, speakers of the English language have since been considered more valuable than those who are not.

This begins to narrow the question of who may be doing the encouraging of this widespread phenomenon and perhaps why they are doing it. As mentioned, it represents the far less efficient method of acquiring resources. When a minority subscribe to practices which sit outside of natural law, their activities generally go unnoticed. But when the majority adhere to practices which sit outside of natural law and most importantly, still seek to keep them hidden, the result is an entirely false social paradigm. Any regulatory mechanism employed by a deliberately disconnected and clandestine population will, by any practical measure, fail to represent the interests of it's constituent members when it comes to the shared values of natural law. Consequently the resultant social dynamic is entirely unworkable and can only exist specifically to prevent any form of societal progress. No type one civilisation for cattle rustlers it seems - and rightly so.

To unite the entire planet in one language with a common set of values does appear to qualify as some form of species wide unity. However, the stark variances across people of differing cultures, races, physical characteristics, cognitive abilities, political interests, economic values and (most importantly) belief structures means that this represents a seriously large scale task. It is of such truly and unimaginably enormous scope, that it appears as utter fantasy. To add to this, a common set of values which encourage passive aggressive and predatory, parasitical behavior could never qualify as anything to do with natural law. Therefore to unite humanity in unnatural behaviour would require some extensive breaking down of the global psyche. According to the tenets of accepted scripture, free will is mans birthright and we are not to be denied it. The removal of free will may well get everyone on the same page, but it's predicated on a lowest common denominator approach. If the task is to make everyone equal, crippling the enlightened minority is much less work than enlightening the majority. This is where the stick proves easier to utilise than the carrot. If humans are to give up their birthright of free will, they generally need to be manipulated into doing so. With the billions of humans currently inhabiting this outlying rock, creating any form of species wide unity would require a considerable global threat. Such a threat has been identified many times in living memory, from the Plague and the Cold War to novel viruses sweeping the planet. However, unification under a shared fear is surely of lesser value to the human race than being united in a common goal and shared understanding.
Among researchers of ancient history there is a common understanding that both Giza in Egypt and and Puma Punku in South America were known as:
Places that men went to become gods
This is not how the historical record represents these locations and instead they are classified as tombs and places of primitive pagan worship. Engaging in an endeavour of unification which comprises the entirety of the human race, is hard to consider as being in any way primitive. Especially as it appears to be the exact opposite of a lowest common denominator approach. There exists among disparate sources, various descriptions of a practice involving seclusion from the outside world for several days. This was apparently achieved by training for a year to be able to survive enclosure in stone for days. The acolyte would imbibe a hefty brew which placed them into a narcotic induced state of unconsciousness. When they emerged several days later, they were apparently enlightened. This was accepted as a method of entering the underworld without actually having to die and thus be able to return with the knowledge gained from the otherworldly experience.

It should be noted that this method is not the only approach to achieving similar levels of enlightenment. The most famous carpenter in the Galilee region is believed to have said:
The kingdom of God lies within
This is echoed by various other religious figureheads and their followers and essentially states that nobody actually needs a temple, sarcophagus or a priest class to gain enlightenment. With the right philosophical tools and meditative methods, anyone can 'tune in' to their inner divinity and gain a greater understanding of their place in the universe. There are those who would assert that this 'inner divinity' is not actually generated within our bodies, but is a balancing of our own resonant frequencies with that of the 7.5Hz -14Hz resonant frequency of the Earth, or Schumann frequency There is also the question of what the stone sarcophagus was insulating the acolyte from. It is conceivable that the dense silicate of stone chambers or sarcophagi would indeed exclude specific frequency ranges and thereby disconnect humans from the clock which regulates their resonance. By the same token, the dense silicate could actually be isolating electromagnetic frequencies. This practice would appear to have been pursued in various regions in ancient times. From the Hypogeum in Malta to the 'Treasury' in Petra and the Longyou caves in China. In fact it could allude to frequency based spiritual practices involving dense silicate all across the Megalithic world, including numerous sites in North America.

There are background EMF signals from numerous sources, which would interfere with our natural ability to connect with the frequency of the Earth. Despite interest groups classifying these signals into ionizing and non-ionizing there has been very little government, NGO or manufacturer lead research as to their long term effects on health. The potentially hazardous physical effects (never mind psychological) are widely accepted in the technical community. Wireless Energy is distinguished as a Class 2B Possible Carcinogen by the World Health Organization. Given that the W.H.O are hardly considered 'conspiracy theorists' we can assume that there is actual evidence for this warning. This would mean that EMF poisoning is not woo-woo, more that it's RF science that isn't fully quantified or codified in the public consciousness, yet.
We live in increasingly technically sophisticated times. For several decades, futurists have been speculating over the possibilities of a globally connected human race. Dr Nick Begich, author of 'Angels don't play this HAARP', has drawn attention to the fact that this agenda has actually been in play for several decades. He goes to some lengths to re-iterate the self evident truth that human beings are not mere automata. We are complex beings with a history which is much older and very, very different to that detailed by the mainstream narrative.

To actually achieve anything close to a type one civilisation, our species will undoubtedly need to understand the many mistakes of the past. Whether it's deliberately suppressed evidence of mass enlightenment efforts, or the patronising advocacy of materialist reductionism. In no way can our species reach this seemingly rudimentary level of civilisation by adhering to dogmatic herd mentality and ideology. To repeat the mantras of News media and engage in the rituals of social media means nothing. The conscientious individual must be prepared to see beyond the prosaic hearsay of those interests which would obfuscate reality with deliberately contrived mumbo jumbo. Adhering to organised religion may well inspire people to be as benevolent as they can be. However this is but a small part of the route map. To actually become a single people marching to the beat of a single drum would undoubtedly require a global acceptance of a fundamental holy trinity of natural law:
Free will, informed choice and self determination.
